Choose a year for every new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter, listed to the minute in Universal Time. This archive contains 1,237 official USNO phase instants across 25 calendar years.
Universal Time. Each annual calendar uses UT. Converting an instant to your local zone can shift the displayed clock time and sometimes the calendar date.

What each annual page answers
- The exact UT instant of every new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter.
- Separate, scan-friendly lists of all full moon and new moon dates.
- Whether a calendar month contains two full moons or two new moons.
- The shortest and longest gaps between consecutive primary phases in that year.

Official source and update policy
SkyClock uses a checked-in snapshot of the U.S. Naval Observatory Dates of Primary Phases of the Moon service, retrieved 2026-08-14 from API version 4.0.1. USNO documents annual results for years 1700–2100 and specifies that returned times are Universal Time.
The snapshot makes these pages deterministic and prevents a temporary API outage from changing or breaking a build. If a future refresh is incomplete or malformed, the build fails instead of substituting approximate dates. See the USNO API documentation and public-information distribution notice.
How to read the dates
A primary phase is a single astronomical instant, not an all-day local event. For example, a phase listed shortly after 00:00 UT occurs on the previous local date in much of the Americas; a phase late in the UT day may occur on the next local date in East Asia or Oceania. The annual tables deliberately preserve USNO's UT date and time so every visitor starts from the same reference.
These computations are suitable for general planning. They do not predict cloud, horizon obstructions, Moon visibility at a location, or legal/safety conditions, and they are not a substitute for navigational data.
